Graduation Announcement

It is pretty much May....the worst, yet best month of the year (that's my opinion anyway). It is a crazy busy month. I have a niece and nephew both graduating this year. Way back in the fall, we took Annelise's senior pictures...actually Merlynn took them.....except the awesome yellow door one, which I took. She wanted me to make her graduation announcment as well. She chose the design, then I made it work for the pictures we had---it's not the most exciting announcement, but it was what she wanted. We made her do a little bit of "jumping" so we could use that as a thank you, which I thought turned out pretty cute.

As I am looking at it now, I think maybe I should move her name lower or underneath her...hmmm.....

Custom Wallpaper for iPAD

I am lucky enough to have received some iPads for my class this year. I am trying to keep everything very well orgaznized and working. I had to just use what was on the iPad to create the wallpapers, so students could identify their group's iPad. I've finally had time to figure out how to create custom wallpaper. I tryied this one out to put on my iPad. Love it---I can change it and then put whatever I want on the wallpaper. Now I'm in search of some good quotes to use on theirs.

Bulletin Board

My principal came down and asked if I had an idea she could do for the bulletin board in the entryway of the school about a month ago. I know how busy she is...so I said, "I could do that for you!" (like I needed something else to do.) I had a lot of fun looking for ideas and finally decided on this one. I LOVE the tissue paper poms that make up the flowers. It was really easy, and SOOOO cute.

Sneak Peak Follow up

Nothing like having a big project to finish up and a major life event at the same time. This is the doors set up in my garage just before we put them together.

This is a picture (not very good)of the doors set up in the church. It made a really cute back drop and really wasn't very hard to finish. I just wish I would have gotten a better picture after it was all put together, but I really wasn't thinking about that. I was just glad that it got finished and worked out so cute.

SPRING

Who isn't ready for spring?? I'm really ready for summer. I love the change of seasons because it brings a change in colors. Definitely tired of the drab colors of winter and fall. So, I made this very bright and colorful wooden flowers. I LOVE how they turned out.

Then...I threw in a cute little chick just in time for Easter.
