Day 29
Today I made a new set of calendars that sit by my computer. I did this last year and they have been very handy to have right there. I need to remember this earlier, because I think they would make a good Christmas gift. I downloaded the templates here http://www.writeclickscrapbook.com/write_click_scrapbook/2011/12/favorite-quotes-calendar.html , just added my own digital paper and quotes.

Day 26
Day 26
We went to Boise to go furniture shopping.NOT.FUN. It ididn't end up taking too long, but it really isn't that much fun. We went to a couple stores to get a start on next year's Christmas. If we do the twelves days of Christmas for each family, it takes a lot of stuff and requires that we get good deals. We didn't find near as much as last year, but we got started.

Day 25
It seemed to be a techy Christmas. I wish I had taken a picture of everyone that had iPods and iPads playing on them. We had a great time playing around with FaceTime. Now to just figure out the iMessage.

Day 23
We went to Rock Creek and saw the lights. It's been several years since I've been, so it was fun, but it was FREEZING cold.

Day 18
I bought these lanterns in Idaho Falls before Thanksgiving and I LOVE them. They have been so fun. I finally put some Christmas balls in them. I really like how they turned out.

Day 17
This is what our Christmas tree has looked like since the day after Christmas---pretty isn't it...only half the lights work...grrr.
So, I decided to actually get it decorated today. I really don't like decorating trees. I didn't put hardly any decorations on it. But, it is decorated. And, it will be easy to take down!!!

Day 16
We had an ugly Christmas Sweater Contest at school today. Now really, I don't own an ugly Christmas sweater ---never have and never will. There was NO way I was going to pay money for one and I couldn't bring myself to buy something from DI to wear. So, we decided as a team, that we would design our "ugly sweaters" to be the same. We went to Wal-Mart and found the ugliest thing we could. The funny thing is my niece was with us and she LOVED all these colors, and glitter and sparkle. I'm pretty sure I could make the headbands and sell them. This is totally, not my thing, and I most certainly did not wear it all day, although the other two teachers did. It was amazing some of the ugly sweaters people found.

I have done these cute fabric trees as a gift my students an take home to their parents for the last several years. I still really like them, especially when I have over 20 lined up.
